It is used in the control of water circulation, water charging and discharging, water heating, water pump switch on and off of solenoid valve, or powering on and off of water discharging for electric water heater, solar energy water heater, air condition and other water systems.
The water flow switch is composed of a magnetic core, a rotating impeller, a housing and a sensor. When the water flow through the sensor activates the magnetic core to form a touch action, there will be sense this movement and feeds the information back to the electronic control. To make sure that the burner are not able to switch on whilst the system is dry or low on water. So flow switch acts as a safety device.
